L. Andrew Sheppard, CPA began his practice in 1977. In 2007 his firm merged into W. P. Cook & Associates, PLLC. In 2021, in order to offer all of the clients being served a diverse approach and commitment to future business needs, the company reorganized as Sheppard, Jones & Associates, PLLC, after Suzanne Jones, CPA joined the newly organized firm as a partner. The new firm was established with the same commitment to quality service and respect for relationship with the client as that of its predecessor.
Today, Sheppard, Jones & Associates, PLLC assists clients with a range of services. All members of the firm are committed to the success of its clients by offering services to support our clients which represent a variety of individuals and businesses throughout the United States.

870-863-7047Suzanne is a seasoned accounting professional with over two decades of experience spanning public accounting, private industry, and corporate finance. She began her career in public accounting, gaining a strong foundation in tax before transitioning to a private company role. After that, she served for almost 20 years in corporate accounting and tax functions—15 years focused on various types of tax compliance, and the remainder dedicated to SEC reporting and financial disclosures.
Suzanne holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Southern Arkansas University, and is known for her methodical approach, strategic insight, and commitment to accuracy. Her background includes navigating multi-entity structures, managing regulatory filings, and leading initiatives that improved reporting accuracy and streamlined tax operations.
She believes in empowering clients through education and clarity, helping them understand the “why” behind the numbers and fostering financial transparency at every level. Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors, embracing both adventure and reflection.
